pes anserinus --> intraparotid plexus of facial nerve

(Science: anatomy, nerve) The diverging branches of the facial nerve passing through the substance of the parotid gland, connected by numerous looped anastomoses.

Synonym: plexus intraparotideus, pes anserinus.
