Parsonage-turner syndrome



A neurologic disorder generally of unknown cause and characterized by the acute onset of shoulder pain usually beginning at night followed by weakness and wasting of shoulder girdle muscles.


This is an inflammation of the brachial plexus, which causes severe arm pain.
