You may dissect something like a fetal pig or cat; that is par for the course in beginning bio couses. Once you start "freshman biology" ( two semesters), you will probably get other dissections like sea stars, birds, sharks, etc.-- depends ...

... to obtain a higher degree. Its almost as if its mandatory for bio majors to obtain a masters or phd just to have a standard of living which is on par with other degrees which only require 4 (easier) years.
