Paper plate

paper plate --> orbital plate of ethmoid bone

A thin plate of ethmoid bone forming part of the medial wall of the orbit and the lateral wall for the ethmoidal labyrinth.

Synonym: lamina orbitalis ossis ethmoidalis, lamina papyracea, orbital lamina of ethmoid bone, orbital layer of ethmoid bone, orbital plate, paper plate, papyraceous plate.

Question about Kirby-Bauer method

... wondering if it's possible to do this method by just streaking the agar plates with pathogens like E.Coli straight from the tube (from the catalogue) ... pretty much covering the whole plate. And then I would place my paper disks on top of the agar... Thanks for replies.
