Oxyuridae

A family of parasitic nematodes (superfamily oxyuroidea) found in the large intestine or caecum of vertebrates and the intestine of invertebrates, especially insects and millipedes; it includes the genera Aspiculurus, enterobius, oxyuris, Passalurus, syphacia, and Thelandros.
