(Science: chemistry) A complex nitrogenous substance C3N3H5O3 obtained from alloxan (or when urea is fused with ethyl oxamate), as a stable white crystalline powder.

Synonym: oxaluramide.

Origin: From Alloxan, by transposition of letters.
