Gene knockdowns in the wasp Nasonia vitripennis

This paper describes gene knockdowns in the wasp Nasonia vitripennis by Morpholino antisense oligos, delivered ... of later-acting genes. To overcome this limitation, we designed an Nv eve morpholino overlapping the translation start site, as well as one directed at the exon-intron junction ...

Re: Bands in gel electrophoresis

yes a gene for a transcription factor sorry. The 2 of the 3 bands are the same as the the fragments ... makes sense. So would it be correct to say that the 2 fragments that were mixed are overlapping? Thank you again! :)
