(Science: paleontology) A group of mesozoic birds having the jaws armed with teeth, as in most other vertebrates. They have been divided into three orders: odontolcae, odontotormae, and saururae.

Origin: NL, fr.Gr. 'odoys, 'odontos, a tooth _, a bird.
