1. Pertaining to or characterised by neutrophils, such as an exudate in which the predominant cells are neutrophilic granulocytes.

2. Characterised by a lack of affinity for acid or basic dyes, i.e., staining approximately equally with either type.

Synonym: neutrophilous.
