Regulation of a heartbeat

... via dual innervation: First from sympathetic nervous system (Spinal nerve T1-4) Second from parasympathetic nervous system(Cranial nerve CN-X) ... like (anger,stress.....etc.) lead to increase heart rate and force of contraction Conditions that lead to parasympathetic stimulation ...

Re: Muscle Contraction: Strength

Hello! Does a muscle contract stronger when the frequency of the nerve impulses is higher? (Just a guess; Please enlighten me if I am wrong) ... things: - a motor unit is either ON or OFF. There is no gradation of force produced by a motor unit by varying the level of motoneuron excitation ...
