Dictionary » N » Nematode Nematodenematode infection by the nematode ascaris lumbricoides and is characterised by an early pulmonary phase related to larval migration and a later, prolonged intestinal phase. Adult worms are 15-40 cm in length and maintain themselves in the lumen of the small intestine. Infection occurs after ingesting eggs contained in contaminated food or more commonly, by transmission to the mouth by the hands after contact with contaminated soil. Treatment is with mebendazole or pyrantel pamoate. ![]()

Results from our forumRe: Theories - Origin of Life... research is revealing this showing even in eukaryotic life forms, as more animal genomes are sequenced. Evidence of this is the example of the Nematode that I have referred to. So this similarity of genetic information has negated the original Darwinian tree. What is now emerging is more like ...

Re: Determine number of species in a country... and more and more data is coming in. However, we are well short of answering that question, even with the latest techniques. How many species of nematode worms are present in a sample of soil? A very large number. But it takes a nematologist and many years work to answer even that simple a question. ...

(and in terms of a system, it will be outstandingly difficult to control this in a large eukaryote; you might be able to pull it off in a nematode, maybe, but this is why i'm talking about just putting it into cells in a dish or flask or something) but whenever you're dealing with a virus, ...
