pain scale for stingsHaha, actually the pain test is done on grad students too. One of my profs talked about developing lancers(poking needles) for diabetes blood testing. He said that each prototype was tested by one of the lab members for a couple of weeks.

Re: Secretors/Non-Secretors and Blood Group... or antibodies. So, there is no real reason to try to measure blood types from saliva that I can think of. Well, someone who is very afraid of needles might disagree, but still...

Genetic engineering (insertation)the calcium phosphate method is cheap, but more work. With eukaryotic cells since you have the microinjection needles, just get it under the microscope and look for the nucleus area, and inject like many many times to ensure a high yield.
