The birthrate, which is the ratio of total live births to total population in a particular area over a specified period of time; expressed as childbirths per 1000 people (or population) per year

Word origin: L nātālis of, belonging to one's birth, natal, equiv. to nāt(us) an offspring + -ity.

I cannot understand the difference between fertility fecundity "natality rate" "fertility rate" and "birth rate". Can anyone help me? Thanks
