Nasal ganglion

nasal ganglion --> pterygopalatine ganglion

A small parasympathetic ganglion in the upper part of the pterygopalatine fossa whose postsynaptic fibres supply the lacrimal, nasal, palatine and pharyngeal glands.

Synonym: ganglion pterygopalatinum, meckel's ganglion, nasal ganglion, sphenopalatine ganglion.
