Nairovirus

nairovirus

A genus of the family bunyaviridae named after nairobi sheep disease, an acute, haemorrhagic, tick-borne, gastroenteritis affecting sheep and goats. Some viruses in this genus are capable of causing severe and fatal disease in humans.
