Why would the identical amino acids region of certain specie... the region coding for active site will be probably conserved, while some loops on surface of the protein will be divergent. Both on DNA and amino acid level. You can design primers on the divergent regions and then they will be species-specific, because they will bind to the sequence of only one ...

Data analysis: DNA alignment HELP?... that functioned as the catalysts for cell cycle progression. To isolate a cDNA encoding a CDK in maize, investigators aligned the predicted amino acid sequences of human cdc2, S. pombe cdc2, and S. cerevisiae cdc28 genes. Degenerate oligonucleotide PCR primers corresponding to the boxed amino ...

Co2 from respiration-Sugars vs Fats... CO2 during the process pyruvate-->energy you get 2 CO2 during the process Aceytl-CoA-->energy so C6H12O6 would make 6 CO2 and 36 ATP stearic acid would make 18 CO2 and 120 ATP so 120 ATP of sugar = 20 CO2?
