Mucocutaneous candidiasis



A Candida infection of the nails, skin and other mucocutaneous parts of the body.


The condition is found to be associated with an immune disorder such as one involving the T cells. A persistent and recurring Candida infection involving the skin and mucous membranes is referred to as chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis.
