(Science: neurology) A disturbance of the inner ear that is caused by repeated motion (for example sea sickness, car sickness).

Common symptoms include nausea, vomiting and vertigo.

Well I know Dimenhydrinate is used to prevent emesis (motion-sickness). Hope that helps.
