(Science: obstetrics) recurrent nausea and vomiting often seen in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and more pronounced in the mornings.

Synonym: hyperemesis gravidarum.

Sugar isomers

I thought they banned the use of thalidomide for morning sickness in the sixties due to all the birth defects.

... make it safe. For example, thalidomide the commonly used drug for morning sickness also causes birth defects. One enantiomer is the drug, the other is a poison.

Sometimes..I also have the morning sickness....sometimes I have it as a GI syndrome..:lol:
