E. coli numbers

... it divides every 30 minutes, how many will u have after 24 hours. I thought 1 - becomes 2, then 2 doubles every 30 minutes (48 times in 24 hours minus the first time, so 47). So it would just be 2^47 = 140737488355328 or 1.4 x 10^14. Is that right? I know its going to be a lot of cells, but this ...

... the hydrogen and drag the cursor. You should see a bond being created. Then use the charge tools to increase charge on the oxygen by slecting the minus button and then clicking on oxygen.

start and stop codon help?

... ever the stop codon is so there is no definit number of amino acids, on the other hand, i was thinking that it would be 450/3=150 polypeptides minus 9 stop codons. can you guys/gals help me out. thank you!
