(Science: disease) An often familial symptom complex of periodic attacks of vascular headache, usually temporal and unilateral in onset, commonly associated with irritability, nausea, vomiting, constipation or diarrhoea and often photophobia, attacks are preceded by constriction of the cranial arteries, usually with resultant prodromal sensory (especially ocular) symptoms and commence with the vasodilation that follows.

Origin: Gr. Hemikrania = an affection of half of the head

They started with an aura like a migraine does, but then the tingling in my temporal lobes and other symptoms occured such as a euphoric feeling afterwards like I get when I'm 'hypnotized" ...

... could produce such an influx (or in this instance, outflux!) of horrible symptoms. When people tell me "oh yeah it's probably just a bug/migraine", I just simply cannot believe them.

angioedema subject

The best recognised include urticaria, angioedema, migraine, irritable bowel syndrome. Hi there, Got anything else on angioedema to mention? Perhaps someone here on the forum has the condition?
