Carnoy's fixation problem

Hi everyone, What should be the original concentration of ethanol or methanol used in the preparation of Carnoy's fixative solution? I know it is alcohol: glacial acetic acid( 3:1). But what is the original concentration of the alcohol? Thank you very much :)

YES I THINK-- Life Without Water Posssiiibble.

victor is wrong, because he's thinking only about humans based on methanol, but we must consider origin of original new life in any other solvent, which will then have brand new properties. Such solvent is mostly considered methane or ammonia.
