(Science: zoology) A class of arthropoda, allied to the crustacea. It includes the trilobites, eurypteroidea, and limuloidea. All are extinct except the horseshoe crabs of the last group. See limulus.

Origin: NL, fr. Gr. Thigh _, -, mouth.
