Results from our forumWhat is this animal/insect?the picture is not really clear;a goat it looks like but,from its size-an insect.if it moved after you snapped it then could be a preying mantis.but if it didn't move then it could be an epicuticle;after apolysis.

Re: Please help point artist to unique animal functions... for popular. There's a type of catepillar that curls into a wheel and rolls as a form of locomotion. Also look for sheila patek's presentation on mantis shrimp. They can cause cavitations in water. Mith, those are wonderful pointers and exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to learn. Many thanks.
