Mange

Mange

See: Mangy] The scab or itch in cattle, dogs, and other beasts.

(Science: zoology) mange insect, any one of several species of small parasitic mites, which burrow in the skin of cattle. Horses, dogs, and other animals, causing the mange. The mange insect of the horse (Psoroptes, or Dermatodectes, equi), and that of cattle (symbiotes, or Dermatophagys, bovis) are the most important species. See Acarina.

... this would be true if it were the only case of it :( already anticipate the skeptics thoughts "Coyotes have always gotton mange" I have a hunch, that we are the canaries in the coal mine, and there is more to come, perhaps it is due to pollution ans pesticides etc ...
