Mammogram

(Science: investigation) a special imaging examination of the breast using x-rays. The purpose of this test is to detect breast cancer early when lumps are less than 2 cm or smaller in size (most lumps are not felt by the hand when they are 1 cm or less in diameter). Currently, it is believed that there routine mammography is life saving in women over the age of 50 yrs, useful between 40 and 50 yrs and not normally recommended as a routine test for women under 40 yrs.

today i was lukin at a result of a 51 years old woman's breast mammogram x-ray....evrything seems to be normal...but there is one sentence in the result tht says..."Dilated Ducts At The Subaerolar Region Of Both Breasts"...i was wondering wat ...
