mammary gland of male in mammals... it's just functional in only one gender. Males don't really have mammary glands - just nipples with pectoral muscles under them, and a fat-storage site.

Living species first classified from discovery of bones?... their unique teeth are what makes a mammal a mammal (oh yeh, and mammary glands). Your correspondant is well out of depth with this one I think...
