Yes, Marsileidae and Salvinidae are water ferns that has spores differentiated into micro- and macrospore. They have also very interesting sporangia-bearing creations (sporocarpia). Try to find some more sophisticated info about them, because they are really worth it.

... because of some mutations occur in the ovulum chamber (at least that's what I learned from my college, :lol: ). In normal pathway, 1 macrospore will do a meiosis and resulting 4 haploid cells which followed by degeneration of 3 cells and the remaining is just only 1 cell. Then this ...
