Th1/Th2 shift with BCG vaccine / antibiotics... Th2? Antibiotics are said to generally cause th2 dominant diseases such as asthma. But certain antibiotics stimulate Th1 production, ifn-y etc. (macrolides from what I've read). May this just be a modulatory shift that would cease when they are stopped?
