Loment

(Science: botany) An elongated pod, consisting, like the legume, of two valves, but divided transversely into small cells, each containing a single seed.

Origin: L. Lomentum a mixture of bean meal and rice, used as a cosmetic wash, bean meal, fr. Lavare, lotum, to wash.
