Lingual follicles

Lingual follicles --> folliculi linguales

Collections of lymphoid tissue in the mucosa of the pharyngeal part of the tongue posterior to the terminal sulcus collectively forming the lingual tonsil.

Synonym: lenticular papillae, lingual follicles.
