Re: Please help Identify Flower!Its not an amaryllis its call mystery lily, the plant will come up nice and green early and then die down to the ground, here in central wisconsin the flower comes up in august. teresa

Hydrophyte... water. Many species of hydrophytes (such as the Eurasian milfoil) have divided leaves that have less resistance to flowing water. The lotus, water lily, and cattail are hydrophytes. Compare mesophytexerophyte

Co2... there was more in the atmosphere or in water. Another quick question. Is there more stomata under a leaf or on top of a leaf in a water plant? eg Lily. Help appreciated.
