Ligamentum calcaneonaviculare plantare --> plantar calcaneonavicular ligament

(Science: anatomy) a dense fibroelastic ligament that extends from the sustentaculum tali to the plantar surface of the navicular bone; it supports the head of the talus.

Synonym: ligamentum calcaneonaviculare plantare, inferior calcaneonavicular ligament, spring ligament.
