Well that thought corssed my mind too, but a reptile egg is longer in shape with a leathery shell and these (other than the size) resemble frog spawn. Also the fact that I found an independant picture titled "giant frog spawn" ...

Please can you identify this for me?I thought they were more leathery in shell texture lol. Anyway if you look closely you can see the tadpoles inside. I found another photo on the net taken in the same area. A little freaky don't you think? ;)
