Mitosis in root tips... of unclear things about the methodology used can someone please explain The cellulose walls of plants are held together by compounds in the middle lamella. Treatment with hydrochloric acid breaks these down. Why was this helpful in the preperation of the slide? Thanks for your help Fran008 xxx

bone cellsbone cells are called osteocytes. bone contain matrix calle ossein.matrix layers to form lamella. each lamella has space called lacunae.and each lacunae has one bone cell(osteocyte).i hope it helps. or do u want more? :
