I've found a number of small danios that are from SE Asia but I'm not sure if they live in the same waters, I haven't looked into killifish yet. PS: What do you mean by spp? Do you mean species? I'm Dutch so I can't say my English is perfect.

Plants and fish in the same waters as the cherry shrimp?... of danios. I believe they are SE asian in origin and there are a lot of tiny spp that likely can't eat your shrimp. There might also be some killifish or other poeceliads that could coexist.
