(1) Of, or relating to, or characterized by intertrigo.

(2) Of, or pertaining to areas in the body where juxtaposed skin surfaces chafe or rub together.

Supplement

Examples of intertriginous areas are the armpits, creases of the neck, between digits, beneath pendolous breasts, and skin folds of the groin.
