Re: Future Human Evolution... will claim this is somehow immoral. I disagree. I think history shows that morals change, and whatever is of benefit gets accepted. Artificial insemination, only a few decades back, was considered somehow immoral. Today, lots of children are conceived this way. In time, we will see parents ...

Re: Boy And Girl Possibility... sperm had a lesser chance of fertilising an egg because of the weight of the extra chromosome. I asked whether that would mean that in artificial insemination of various kinds there was a higher chance of Polysomy. She couldn't say, but I thought maybe someone here has heard of it.

HiFertilization is definitely internal in birds via cloacal insemination and fertilization occurs even before the shell is processed around the egg...........thats what I studies way back about 5 yrs..........dont think things have changed much since then........
