Infraspinatus

(Science: anatomy, muscle) origin, infraspinous fossa of scapula; insertion, middle facet of greater tubercle of humerus; action, extends arm and rotates it laterally; nerve supply, suprascapular (from fifth to sixth cervical spinal nerves).

Synonym: musculus infraspinatus.
