Re: location of chromosomal cross over

is there any information or hypothesis around suggesting that any crossover inducers, would occur at the borders of gene sequences such that only the whole genes are recombined? recombination by crossing over random sequences would mostly likely form deleterious ...

DNA and Chromosome evolution

Probably the most common mutations happen during breakage repair of the DNA. Even without well-known inducers (like ionizing radiation or a whole list of chemicals), DNA spontaneously breaks and reconnects - there's a whole system in place to splice the pieces back together. ...

Beta pleated sheet vs alpha helix

thats a hard question and its not possible to answer diffenatly. Some aminoacids are said to be for an example helical inducers, like leucine and alanine. proline for an example is often found in hairpins. But there is no rule without exceptions so...

Chemicals influencing transcription rate

... proteinase of host cell and so on.The components of media must be important to the production level, but the effects of lots of chemicals(not inducers) are not important. Recently,I am working on constructing a host(Bacillus subtilis) to produce heterologous proteins at high level secretion ...
