1. Not coherent; wanting cohesion; loose; unconnected; physically disconnected; not fixed to each; said of material substances.

2. Wanting coherence or agreement; incongruous; inconsistent; having no dependence of one part on another; logically disconnected. The same rambling, incoherent manner.
