within the present century, there has been a tendency in England to use illness in the sense of a continuous disease, disorder of health, or sickness, and to confine sickness more especially to a sense of nausea, or sickness of the stomach.

Hereditary Diseases - How to get rid of them?

... detection, making things like IVF the way to have contact with the Sperm & Egg before the foetus develops. Is it possible to detect these illnesses/ chance of it happening using this way and then remove them? I look forward to your posts!
