Idiopathic calcinosis



A type of calcinosis wherein calcification is typically localized to one general area and in which occurs in the absence of known tissue injury or systemic metabolic defect.


For instance, idiopathic scrotal calcinosis is a calcinosis occurring particularly on the scrotum.
