(Science: radiology) variety of degenerative and proliferative changes of gallbladder, wall characterised by hyperconcentration, hyperexcitability, and hyperexcretion, incidence: 30-50% of cholecystectomy specimens, M:F = 1:6 types: cholesterolosis, adenomyomatosis of gallbladder see: focal gallbladder wall thickening
