Hypermetropia

Hypermetropia --> hyperopia

farsightedness or hyperopia occurs when a refractive error in which light rays entering the eye are focused behind the retina. This condition is easily corrected with corrective lenses or contact lenses.

both r caused due to change in lens curvature myopia is caused due to elongation of the eyeball thus the image is formed in front of the retina for hypermetropia the image is formed behind the retina due to lesser refraction by the lens

pres myopia???

Hey all, Short sight is callled Myopiua and long sight hypermetropia. I came across the term Pres Myopia and wondered WHAT is it? Can u help me with this? Thanx Veenaandnivyah

nearest sight

yea i think so see my dad had myopia until he was 40 then he developed hypermetropia and his relative myopia became around zero at least i think thats what he meant
