Humeral head

The name applied to the heads of forearm muscles that attach to the humerus. Nomina anatomica lists humeral heads (caput humerale...) of the following: 1) flexor carpli ulnaris muscle (... Musculi flexoris carpi ulnaris ); 2) pronator teres muscle (... Musculi pronatoris teretis ).

Synonym: caput humerale.
