Human t-cell leukaemia virus

(Science: virology) One of a group of retroviruses which causes the disease t-cell leukaemia in humans. T-cell leukaemia is a type of the cancer leukaemia where the body uncontrollably produces large amounts of abnormal (nonworking) t lymphocytes.
