1. (Science: zoology) a large blood-sucking leech (Haemopsis vorax), of Europe and northern Africa. It attacks the lips and mouths of horses.

2. A farrier; a veterinary surgeon.

what kind of cells you mean? Like distinguish between plants and animals or distinguish horse from dog or cat or distinguish neuron from muscle cell etc.?
