Homo heidelbergensis



A primitive human species characterized by having average cranial volume of 1100-1400 cc, height of about 6 ft, muscular physique, skills in using stone tools, and primitive language.


Recent findings indicate that the species may be the first in the Homo genus to bury their dead.
