Definition

noun

A group of eukaryotic animals with worm-like appearance (i.e. small animals with long, slender body and without appendages) and mostly parasitic. This group includes Platyhelminthes (flatworms), Nematoda (roundworms), Acanthocephala (thorny-headed worms), and Annelida (segmented worms).
